There is something for everyone, whether you are interested in speeding down an adrenaline-pumping waterslide, drifting along a peaceful lazy river in an inner tube, or entertaining the kids at Parrot Island! SPAR is a special tax district providing recreation opportunities to the residents of Ward 4 Recreation Dist. 2 of Calcasieu Parish. Funded primarily by local property taxes, SPAR maintains over 550 acres of parks and multiple recreation facilities.
